Created as a place for teachers to produce instructional materials the IRC Teacher Production Center (TPC) is a dynamic center for teacher collaboration and sharing. Open all year for the convenience of employees of the VBCPS system.

For entry into the Teacher Production Center, please bring your school ID*, contract, or pay stub as proof of employment. *If you are a volunteer or student teacher who has not been issued a school ID or badge, please bring a letter on school letterhead signed by your principal or assistant principal stating that you are using the TPC with their permission for the following dates:

For safety and space reasons, children and non-employees are not permitted in the TPC or the IRC. Due to liability issues, employees arriving accompanied by ineligible friends and/or family members will not be granted admittance. Please plan accordingly.

Marian Lane (marian.lane@vbschools.com), the Teacher Production Center Technician, provides technical assistance as well as ideas and creative samples of what the hardware and software can be used to produce.

Large Format Posters
The Teacher Production Center (TPC) has saved files for more than 6000 Large Format Posters that have been designed by Marian Lane, the Teacher Production Center Technician. Posters can be printed in three sizes: 8.5" x 11" (no limit), 11" x 17" (no limit), or 18" x 24" (limit one per day). Posters may also be altered to fit a teacher’s individual needs. All the posters are available for viewing in the TPC. They are stored in large white binders, divided into subject areas, on the shelf on the far wall above the comptuers.

You may have one 18"x 24" poster printed per day. TPC is a make it, take it center. Teachers who would like to design their own posters may bring in their own Word, Print Shop, PowerPoint, Publisher, Inspiration, or .pdf file on a floppy or CD. Please be aware that we may experience occasional “glitches” due to different versions of programs on school/home/TPC computers. Every effort will be made to resolve any problems in order to print the poster you want. See Marian Lane, the Teacher Production Center Technician, for more information.

Artwaxer™ (Wax the back of classroom materials for hanging, sticks to wall but removes easily without mess.)
Copiers (NOTE: If you are running class sets, you must provide your own paper supply.)
