As of September 2014, the IRC shares a delivery driver with the Department of Technology. Due to his heavy workload, twice-weekly visits to check the IRC buckets are no longer possible. Stops at your location will be made when there are media orders to be delivered and/or scheduled for pickup. Items returned to the bucket early may not be picked up immediately. Only those schools in receipt of an automated IRC delivery list or due list will be on the IRC schedule for that day. (Questions regarding the pickup and return of equipment repairs should be directed to the Department of Technology at 263-1100.)
In most cases items are delivered to your school library. Please check with your LMS to discuss pickup and return procedures. If the library needs to close for testing or other activities, the IRC bucket should be moved to an accessible location and our office notified.
Please renew or return media items to the IRC bucket the day you receive your return reminders and due lists. Because we cannot guarantee a specific time of arrival, returning materials to the bucket the day before ensures you won't miss us and the driver doesn't make unnecessary stops.
